Stainless Steel Material Grades
Stainless steel material grades differ in corrosion resistance, temperature capability, strength, weldability, and suitability for specific fabrication and service conditions. Compare 304, 304L, 316, 316L, 309/309S/309H, 310/310S/310H, 317/317L, 321/321H, and 347/347H.
Grade alone does not define a complete tube or pipe specification. Include the product standard, manufacturing route, dimensions, length, surface condition, heat treatment, testing, quantity, and documentation in the enquiry. Material selection should be reviewed against the process medium, temperature, pressure, fabrication, and regulatory requirements.
